Kevin Murphy Free Hold is best for short to medium hair that needs shape but still wants movement. We would recommend it when you want control but not a stiff, locked-in finish, and you want shape, separation and a natural flexible finish.
It depends on how and where you use it. Start small, keep richer products away from the root if your hair is fine, and focus Free Hold where your hair actually needs support.
Use Free Hold on dry hair. Warm a small amount between your palms first, then work it from the roots into the areas that need shape. Add more only where the style collapses or needs extra control — not automatically everywhere.
Use Free Hold on dry hair. Choose Night Rider or Rough Rider instead when you need stronger matte control.
