Moda stylist tipPearl Rose shows prettiest on pale, even blonde — the lighter the base, the truer the rose. It's a soft, wearable tint rather than a bold fashion colour, so it's forgiving and low-commitment. For an even softer wash of rose, mix with White Mix or shorten the leave-in; leave longer for more rose. Strand-test and wear gloves. Won't lighten; tell your colourist before bleaching.

Ask ModaDo I need to bleach for the rose tint to show?
For a true, pretty rose you need a pale blonde or pre-lightened base — the pigment tints the hair rather than lightening it, so the lighter and more even your blonde, the truer the rose-gold shows. You don't have to bleach specifically for it if you're already pale blonde. On darker or golden blonde the rose reads more subtly, and on dark hair it won't show. A strand test shows exactly how it'll look on your base first.
How is it different from Peach Pink and Pink Pop?
They're all soft-to-bold pink family tones. Pearl Rose is a delicate rose-blonde / rose-gold — the most subtle and wearable, like a pink-tinted blonde. Peach Pink is warmer, leaning peach/coral. Pink Pop is the boldest, a vivid true pink for a statement. Choose Pearl Rose for a soft, everyday rose-gold blonde; Peach Pink for a warm peachy tint; Pink Pop for a bright pink pop. All show best on pale blonde and can be softened with White Mix.
Will it lighten my hair or cover grey?
No to both. It only deposits rose tone — it can't lighten, as it has no bleach. And the semi-permanent pigments don't cover grey (results on grey vary and aren't recommended). Pearl Rose adds a soft rose tint to existing blonde and pre-lightened hair; it works best on already-light hair. On darker or virgin hair the effect is minimal to none, so a strand test is important to see how it reads.
Is it damaging, and can I bleach over it later?
It's not damaging — it's a conditioning treatment with Argan Oil, Provitamin B5, and nourishing ingredients that leaves hair soft and glossy. But always tell your hairdresser if you've used Colour Refresh before any bleaching or lightening. Even a soft rose tint leaves some pigment on pale hair, which can affect a bleach result, so your colourist needs to know to plan the service correctly.
