The client with thick, long hair that has become progressively drier and harder to manage over the past few years — it tangles more, takes longer to detangle, and the mid-lengths feel rough even right after washing. We switch them to Young Again Wash and Rinse. By their next appointment six weeks later they report the hair detangles in half the time and feels noticeably softer through the mid-lengths. Kevin Murphy formulated the Young Again Rinse to do genuine restorative work during the conditioning window — not just coat the hair surface for temporary slip. The Mango Seed Butter, Shea Butter and the full vitamin complex mean this is a hair treatment in conditioner format, not just an emollient rinse.

- Young Again Rinse is built on the same Certified Organic Immortelle and Baobab Seed Oil core as the full REJUVENATE regimen, paired with Orchid Flower Extract for protein-based strength and Kakadu Plum for its exceptional Vitamin C concentration. A vitamin complex of Biotin, Vitamin A and B6 supports hair fibre integrity and scalp health. Aloe Vera Leaf Juice provides a calming hydration base. The formula is sulphate-free, paraben-free and safe for colour-treated hair.

Ask ModaWill Young Again Rinse be too heavy for fine hair?
Yes — the Mango Seed Butter and Shea Butter content makes it richer than ideal for fine hair. Kevin Murphy’s Angel Rinse is designed specifically for fine hair needing weightless volume conditioning. Young Again Rinse is built for medium to thick hair that is dry, brittle or ageing and needs genuine moisture restoration.
Do I use the Rinse after the Masque on masque days, or does the Masque replace it?
No — the Rinse follows the Masque, not replaces it. Kevin Murphy specifically instructs: apply Masque, absorb 5–10 minutes, rinse the Masque out, then apply Rinse and rinse again. The Rinse seals the cuticle over what the Masque deposited. Using the Masque without the Rinse step reduces the treatment result.
How long should I leave Young Again Rinse in?
Yes — 1 to 2 minutes is the contact window Kevin Murphy specifies. The amino acids and butters need that time to deposit on the hair shaft before rinsing. Rushing the rinse reduces what the formula can deliver. Two minutes is the investment that makes the conditioning result noticeable.
Can I use Young Again Rinse with a different shampoo, or does it only work with Young Again Wash?
Yes — Young Again Rinse works as a standalone conditioner with any shampoo. The full regimen benefit is best when paired with Young Again Wash because the amino acid and antioxidant work compounds across both steps, but the Mango Butter, Shea Butter and Orchid conditioning benefit is present regardless of which shampoo precedes it.
My hair is dry and frizzy but not particularly aged. Will Young Again Rinse still help?
Yes — the Mango Seed Butter and Shea Butter address dry and frizzy hair regardless of the cause. The REJUVENATE regimen targets ageing, but the conditioning ingredients work on any depleted dry hair. If frizz is the primary concern rather than anti-ageing, Smooth Again Rinse is also worth considering as a more frizz-specific option for thick, coarse hair.
