Yes — the scalp-targeted formula applies primarily at the scalp rather than through the lengths, which means it has minimal impact on colour-treated ends when used correctly. Concentrate on the scalp and let the water carry it through the lengths during rinsing rather than working it through the ends manually.
How does Rica Natura'rt Clear Scalp Shampoo differ from Urban Detox?
Urban Detox is a periodic clarifying shampoo for product buildup and pollution — used once a week or fortnight. Clear Scalp is a scalp-balancing shampoo for everyday use by clients with excess oil production or scalp imbalance. Urban Detox removes buildup; Clear Scalp balances the environment.
Will Rica Natura'rt Clear Scalp Shampoo dry out my lengths?
Not if you follow with a conditioner or treatment on the lengths. Apply the shampoo primarily to the scalp, massage thoroughly, then rinse. Apply conditioner from mid-lengths to ends and rinse. The scalp gets the balancing formula; the lengths get the moisture they need.
Is Rica Natura'rt Clear Scalp Shampoo suitable for daily use?
Yes — it is appropriate for daily or frequent washing. For clients washing daily due to oily scalp, it is a better option than a generic shampoo because it addresses the oil production specifically rather than simply removing it without affecting the underlying imbalance.
