Most conditioners don't address colour fade — they address dryness and detangling, which is useful but not the same thing. The Atonement Colour Protect Conditioner does both. Its acidic pH closes the cuticle after shampooing, which is the mechanical step that actually locks pigment inside the hair shaft rather than letting it rinse away. Mineral-blocking actives prevent hard water minerals from depositing inside the cuticle and accelerating the dull, oxidised look that colour clients notice first.

Shea Butter and Glycerin deliver the softness and slip that fine and medium colour-treated hair needs without heaviness. Hydrolysed Quinoa reduces porosity further. UV filters and Sunflower Seed Oil continue the antioxidant and environmental protection started in the shampoo. Applied for two minutes from mid-lengths to ends, then rinsed. Vegan and cruelty-free. 300ml.

The cuticle of the hair is like scales — alkaline conditions (from some shampoos, hard water, bleach) lift those scales open, which lets pigment escape. An acidic pH conditioner closes the scales, physically sealing the colour inside the hair shaft. It is one of the most mechanically effective things a conditioner can do for colour retention.
Hard water contains calcium and magnesium minerals that deposit inside the open cuticle during washing. Those deposits accumulate over time and create the dull, brassy, oxidised look that colour clients often attribute to fading — but is actually mineral buildup. The mineral-blocking actives in Atonement Conditioner prevent those deposits from forming, which extends the vibrancy and true tone of the colour significantly.
No — the formula is designed to be lightweight enough for all hair types including fine. Apply from mid-lengths to ends only (never the scalp), leave for two minutes, and rinse with cool water. Fine hair managed with the right application technique will not be flattened by this conditioner.
Two minutes from mid-lengths to ends. This is the processing time for the acidic pH to work and the Hydrolysed Quinoa to penetrate the cuticle — rinsing too quickly reduces the colour-protective effect significantly.
The shampoo and conditioner protect colour during and immediately after washing. But colour fade also happens throughout the day from heat styling, UV exposure, and oxidative stress — and the in-shower products can't address that. The Hue Dini Colour Protect Leave-In is the step that covers the remaining exposure window. If the hair is colour-treated and regularly heat-styled or exposed to sun, the leave-in is worth adding.
