The ELYSIUM is Parlux's newest and most powerful model — the first in the Parlux line-up to run at 2300W on the North American spec. The new-generation professional digital motor delivers faster drying and more heat output than the Digitalyon, paired with the most temperature flexibility in the range: 3 speeds and 3 temperatures versus the 2 speeds and 4 temperatures of the Alyon and Digitalyon.

The memory function is a practical addition for professional use — it remembers your last speed and temperature setting so every session starts exactly where you left it. The rotating STC cable (3.30 metres) eliminates cord tangling during extended blowout work. The compact ergonomic design is built for long-session use without fatigue.

Air Ionizer Tech is integrated throughout, producing the same static-free, smooth results the Parlux range is known for.

Use the memory function to set your preferred speed and temperature for your hair type once and never adjust it again for day-to-day sessions. The rotating cable prevents the cord fatigue that shortens the life of non-rotating cables during daily use.

  2. Section hair and work methodically with the concentrator nozzle parallel to the shaft.

The ELYSIUM is Parlux's most powerful and most advanced model. The biggest differences: 2300W vs 1875W (more power, faster drying), 3 speeds and 3 temperatures vs 2 speeds and 4 temperatures (different control structure), a memory function that retains your last setting, and a rotating STC cable that eliminates tangles. The ELYSIUM is also more compact than the Digitalyon. The Digitalyon has a longer documented lifespan rating and the acoustic silencing system; the ELYSIUM has more power and the memory + rotating cable features. For professional daily use at maximum power with the most convenience features, the ELYSIUM. For the lightest, quietest dryer at 1875W, the Digitalyon.
The memory function retains the last speed and temperature setting used. When you switch the ELYSIUM on, it starts at exactly the settings you finished with last time — no manual resetting every session. For clients who always use the same settings for their hair type, this is a genuinely useful convenience feature that saves time at the start of every blowout.
The STC (Special Twisting Cable) rotates 360° at the point where the cord meets the dryer body. During a blowout, you move the dryer constantly in different directions — a standard fixed cable twists and kinks each time, which over time weakens the cable at the connection point and shortens its life. A rotating cable eliminates that twist stress entirely. For daily users, it is one of the most meaningful longevity features on a professional dryer.
The Parlux MagicCompact® Diffuser — designed specifically for the ELYSIUM's motor and airflow. The Magic Sense Diffuser With Adapter (designed for the Alyon and Digitalyon) is not compatible with the ELYSIUM. The MagicCompact® is available separately at Moda and is the recommended curly and wavy styling attachment for ELYSIUM owners.
No — 2300W is within standard household circuit capacity in Canada (which is rated for up to 15A/1800W on most circuits, or 20A/2400W on dedicated circuits). The ELYSIUM draws more power than a 1875W dryer but operates well within what a standard Canadian bathroom circuit handles. The 3 speeds and 3 temperatures give you full control to reduce power when needed — you do not need to run it at maximum settings. For fine or thin hair, lower speed and heat settings are appropriate and easy to select.
