Squeeze your hair until it stops dripping before you apply — then press out a little more with a towel. A mask applied to soaking-wet hair is diluted before it ever reaches the fibre. Work it through mid-lengths and ends with a wide-tooth comb so every strand is coated, then let it sit the full five minutes. Rushing the rinse is the most common reason clients tell us a mask "didn't do anything."
Not the Right Fit If...
Your hair is healthy but simply dry, or it is very fine and weighs down easily. Protein-rich repair masks are designed for structural damage; on healthy fine hair they can feel heavier than you need. For moisture without the repair focus, reach for the Pureology Hydrate line instead.
How To Use
- Shampoo with Strength Cure Shampoo and gently squeeze out excess water.
- Apply a quarter-size amount through damp mid-lengths and ends, combing through to distribute evenly.
- Leave on for 5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Use weekly in place of conditioner, or more often for severely damaged hair.
