Ask ModaIs RICA Volume Spray applied before or after blow-drying?
Before. Apply to towel-pressed damp hair, particularly at the roots, and blow-dry immediately. The spray creates the structure for body and volume during the drying process. It is not a finishing product.
Can I use RICA Volume Spray on thick hair?
It is formulated for fine to medium hair. On thick or coarse hair, the lightweight formula will not provide the weight or support those textures need. For thick hair, a styling cream or pomade applied to damp hair is more appropriate.
Will RICA Volume Spray make my hair feel stiff?
No — the result is soft and touchable. If the hair feels stiff after drying, too much was applied. For fine hair, a light pass at the root is enough — build only if more volume is needed.
Can I use RICA Volume Spray with RICA Sculpting Lifter?
They are both pre-blow-dry products. For very fine hair wanting maximum body and hold through the day, applying Volume Spray through the lengths and Sculpting Lifter at the root gives a layered effect. Test the combination to find the right balance for your hair.
Do I need a finishing product after RICA Volume Spray?
Not necessarily. Volume Spray gives light hold and body that may be enough for an everyday style. For a more defined, textured result, follow the blowout with Grooming Clay or Shape Matt Putty on the dry finished style.
