Nº.0 is applied to dry hair as the first step before Nº.3, doubling down on the bond repair that Nº.3 alone delivers. The formula is lightweight and absorbs into dry hair quickly, priming the structure so that Nº.3 can work at a deeper level than it can without the primer step. For clients whose hair is heavily processed, bleached or showing significant damage, Nº.0 + Nº.3 together is the at-home repair protocol. OLAPLEX pioneered bond repair — before it existed, there was no at-home option for actually reconnecting broken disulfide bonds. The Nº.0 and Nº.3 combination represents the most intensive version of that repair available for home use.

Do not rinse between Nº.0 and Nº.3 — the two are designed to be layered wet on wet. After applying Nº.0 for 10 minutes, apply Nº.3 directly over it. A shower cap between the two steps holds warmth and helps the actives penetrate more deeply in the same processing time.

How To Use

  1. Apply to dry hair section by section until fully saturated.
  2. Leave on for 10 minutes.
  3. Without rinsing, apply Nº.3 Hair Perfector on top.
  4. Leave Nº.3 on for a minimum of 10 additional minutes.
  5. Rinse thoroughly, then shampoo and condition as usual.
