The shampoo and conditioner do most of the work; the mist is what holds tone on non-wash days. If your blonde fades fast, the trio keeps you bright between washes. If you wash often or fade slowly, the duo may be enough — the mist is the upgrade for serious brass.
Not if you follow the timing. The pigment builds with processing time, so over-leaving the conditioner is what tips hair too ashy or violet. Stick to the directed times, scale to your brass level, and you get clean, bright blonde — not purple.
Use the shampoo and conditioner on wash days as your tone needs — every wash if you fade fast, every few if you don't — and the mist on the days in between. Most blondes settle into a rhythm within a couple of weeks of watching how their colour behaves.
It maintains and refreshes tone, and will visibly knock back mild yellowing. But if your blonde has shifted strongly orange or gold, that's a correction for the salon chair first — then this system keeps the fresh result from drifting back.
