Moda stylist tipWash colour-treated hair in cooler water and less often — every wash fades colour slightly, and hot water opens the cuticle and lets more pigment escape. The Colour Guard Complex does the protecting; your water temperature and wash frequency do the rest. Stretching washes and dropping the temperature noticeably extends a colour service.

Yes, you save — the duo is priced 15% below the cost of buying the 1000ml Shampoo and 1000ml Conditioner on their own. You get both full litre bottles of the same colour-protecting formulas, bundled at a better value. It's the most economical way to protect a colour service long-term, which pays off when you colour regularly.
Does this work for brunette and red, or just blonde?
Yes — it works for every colour. Luminous Colour is tone-neutral, meaning it deposits no pigment; it simply protects whatever colour you have from fading. That makes it ideal for brunette, red, copper, and fashion shades as well as blonde. If your specific issue is blonde turning brassy, that's a toning job (Sheer Silver); for keeping any colour vibrant, Luminous Colour is the one.
Will it actually make my colour last longer between appointments?
Yes — colour fades from UV, oxidation, and pigment washing out, and the Colour Guard Complex shields against UV and free radicals while the gentle base cleanses without stripping. No product stops fading entirely, but a dedicated colour-care routine meaningfully slows it, especially combined with cooler water and less frequent washing. It's the home care we recommend to protect a colour service.
My coloured hair is also dry — is this enough, or do I need a moisture range?
Yes, the conditioner adds moisture and shine, but if your hair is markedly dry you can layer in extra care. Use this duo as your colour-protecting base, and add the weekly Luminous Colour Masque for more moisture, or alternate with True Soft if dryness is the bigger concern. For colour-damaged (breaking) hair, Structure Repair is the better repair partner.
Does it need pumps, and are they included?
No — pumps aren't included with this duo as standard. The litre bottles have a standard flip cap. If you'd like Maria Nila litre pumps to make dispensing easier at the sink, add them separately — one fits each bottle. Many clients prefer a pump on a 1000ml bottle for daily use.
