Mostly about the numbers — that's the point of the system.
Each hundred is a job: 100 is hair cleansing, 200 is hair treatments, 300 is styling, 400 is shave, 500 is beard and moustache, 600 is body, 900 is scents. The second digits are the individual products — No. 301 is the first styling product, and so on.
Decide two things: finish (matte, natural or shine) and hold (light to maximum). Matte and strong is No. 301; natural texture is No. 302; reworkable is No. 303; gels are Nos. 304, 313 and 307; volume is No. 308; fine-hair texture is No. 309; curls are No. 310.
The scalp-stimulation pair: No. 105 Invigorating Shampoo and the No. 205 no-rinse scalp treatment. For styling, No. 309 Texturizing Dust and No. 308 Volume Creator add body to fine hair without weight.
The 500 family — beard shampoo, conditioning beard oil and beard colour — plus the No. 403 pre-shave and daily beard oil from the shave range.
Of course. The numbers describe jobs, not genders — the shampoos, treatments and stylers work on any hair. No. 104 Silver Shampoo, for instance, tones any grey, white or lightened hair beautifully.
