Apply Fabuloso Red to dry or slightly damp hair before shampooing for the deepest, most even deposit. Shampoo and condition afterwards as normal. This reversal of the usual application order is how we do colour gloss treatments in the salon — the pigment grabs without water diluting it, and the shampoo step afterwards controls the intensity. Start with a five-minute pre-shampoo application on your first try and adjust from there.
Not the Right Fit If...
Not the right choice if your hair is naturally dark with no lightening — the pigment will not show visibly on unlifted hair. Not the right choice if you want to cool down or neutralise warm tones. Fabuloso Red is specifically for clients with red or red-adjacent professional colour who want to maintain or intensify that tone.
How To Use
- Put on gloves — this step is not optional with Red.
- Shampoo as normal and squeeze out excess water.
- Apply Fabuloso Red evenly through mid-lengths and ends.
- Leave for 2–5 minutes on first use — assess and adjust from there.
- Rinse thoroughly. Use a darker towel to dry.
