How to use

Results vary, but most clients notice improved oil control within the first few washes. Piroctone Olamine works to reduce the bacterial activity that accelerates sebum breakdown, while the silicates physically absorb excess oil at the scalp. Consistent use over 2–4 weeks typically produces the most noticeable improvement in oil control between washes.
I've been washing my hair daily to manage oil. Can I cut back to every other day with No. 102?
Yes — that's the goal. No. 102 is designed to address the underlying scalp balance issue, not just rinse the surface. As the Piroctone Olamine reduces sebum-related bacterial activity and the Magnesium and Aluminium Silicate absorb excess oil during washing, most clients find the interval between washes naturally extends over time.
Is No. 102 strong enough to remove styling products? I use paste and gel regularly.
Yes. The sebum-control formula is built on delicate but effective surfactants that remove both excess oil and styling product buildup thoroughly. The lather step is particularly effective when left on for a full minute, allowing the silicate actives to absorb sebum while the surfactants lift product residue.
I have dandruff as well as an oily scalp. Is No. 102 going to help with that too?
Partially. No. 102 contains Piroctone Olamine, which has antibacterial and antimicrobial action that can help with the bacterial component of dandruff. However, if dandruff is the primary concern, a dedicated anti-dandruff shampoo formulated specifically for that concern would be more targeted. No. 102's primary focus is sebum regulation.
The menthol in No. 102 — is it going to be uncomfortably strong on a sensitive scalp?
No. The Menthol in No. 102 is at a concentration designed for a refreshing sensation rather than an intense cooling effect. If you have a very reactive scalp, perform a patch test or start with a shorter rinse time on first use.
