Ask ModaHow many sprays per application does No. 902 need to fragrance a typical bathroom?
Two to three sprays into the centre of the room is typically sufficient for a standard bathroom. The DEPOT® fragrance concentration is designed to provide a noticeable ambient scent without being overpowering. Spray into the air rather than onto surfaces, and allow 30–60 seconds for the fragrance to distribute before assessing whether more is needed.
Will No. 902 leave marks on fabric or surfaces if I spray it in the room?
Avoid spraying No. 902 directly onto fabrics, polished furniture, or delicate surfaces. The spray is designed for aerial use — spritz into open air rather than at surfaces or textiles. Most room fragrances can mark delicate fabrics or leave residue on polished surfaces if sprayed directly. Aerial application eliminates this risk.
How does No. 902 differ from the No. 903 Diffuser? When would I choose one over the other?
No. 902 delivers immediate, controlled, on-demand fragrance — spray when you want scent, exactly where you want it. No. 903 Diffuser provides continuous, passive fragrance release throughout the day without any active input. Choose No. 902 for moments (after a shower, before guests arrive); choose No. 903 if you want the room to always carry the scent.
Can I use No. 902 as a linen or fabric spray?
It's not intended or tested for fabric use. The formulation is designed for aerial fragrance application rather than textile contact. Spraying directly onto fabric carries a risk of marking or staining, particularly on light-coloured or delicate fabrics. For fragrance on linens or fabric, a dedicated fabric spray formulated for textile contact would be more appropriate.
Is the scent in No. 902 the same as the No. 901 Candle and No. 903 Diffuser?
Yes — the No. 901, 902, and 903 ambient fragrance products are part of the same DEPOT® scent collection and carry a consistent fragrance character across formats. This allows you to maintain the same scent environment using different delivery formats, or combine them for different spaces or moments in the same environment.
