Yes. No. 601 is formulated as a gentle daily body wash — the botanical cleansing formula is designed for regular use without the skin-drying effect of harsh surfactant-based body washes. It's a logical extension of the DEPOT® grooming philosophy that applies to body care what the brand applies to hair care: effective cleansing without compromising the skin barrier.
How does the scent of No. 601 compare to the rest of the DEPOT® range?
No. 601 carries the DEPOT® masculine scent profile that runs through the broader product range — the same botanical, masculine character recognisable in the shampoos and shaving products. Using No. 601 in the shower makes the whole grooming routine feel cohesive and consistent in scent rather than mixing incompatible fragrance families.
Can I use No. 601 on my face as well as my body?
No. No. 601 is formulated for body use. Body washes are typically more alkaline than facial cleansers and are not ideal for the more sensitive facial skin. For facial cleansing as part of a shaving routine, DEPOT® No. 401 Pre & Post Shave Cream and the No. 404 Shaving Soap Cream are the dedicated facial products.
Is No. 601 available in different fragrances like No. 602 Bar Soap?
No. 601 is available in DEPOT®'s standard body wash format in a single masculine fragrance profile. No. 602 Scented Bar Soap is the product in the body range that comes in multiple fragrance profiles (Classic Cologne, Dark Tea, Fresh Black Pepper, Mystic Amber, Oriental Soul). If fragrance choice is important, No. 602 offers more options.
I have sensitive skin. Is No. 601 appropriate or should I use something fragrance-free?
No. 601 contains fragrance as part of the DEPOT® scent profile. For very sensitive skin with known fragrance reactions, a fragrance-free body wash would be the safer choice. If fragrance sensitivity is mild rather than severe, the botanical cleansing formula is gentle enough for most regular use. If in doubt, patch-test on the inner arm before first use.
