Yes — No. 310 works across the full spectrum of natural texture from loose waves to tighter curls. The anti-static fixative polymers form a flexible film around each wave or curl regardless of tightness, and the Aloe Vera Juice provides the hydration that both waves and curls need to hold definition. Apply to damp hair and let the natural texture air-dry.
I usually get frizz as soon as my hair dries. Will No. 310 actually control that or does it just define the curl?
Both — frizz control is a primary function of the anti-static fixative polymers in No. 310, which reduce the electrostatic charge that causes hair to separate and frizz as it dries. Apply to soaking-wet or very damp hair, distribute strand by strand, and avoid touching until fully dry for the best frizz-free result.
I've used curl creams before that made my curls feel crunchy and hard. Will No. 310 do that?
No. No. 310 is formulated for medium, flexible hold — the anti-static polymers form a flexible film, not a rigid cast. The Aloe Vera Juice and Glycerin keep the curls hydrated and soft throughout the hold. The key is not over-applying — start with a small amount distributed thoroughly.
Can I use a diffuser with No. 310 or does it only work with air-drying?
Yes, a diffuser works well with No. 310. The UV filter and flexible polymer system are compatible with low to medium diffuser heat. Use the diffuser on a medium heat setting and low airflow to minimise frizz disturbance while drying. High airflow without a diffuser attachment is the most likely cause of frizz during blow-drying curly hair.
The UV filter in No. 310 — does that protect against colour fade on colour-treated curly hair?
Yes, to a meaningful extent. The UV filter in No. 310 protects against the lightening and dehydrating effects of UV exposure, which includes the colour-fading mechanism on colour-treated hair. For curly and wavy hair that tends to be more porous and therefore more susceptible to UV damage, the UV filter in No. 310 provides daily protection during the styling step.
