EDP concentration contains a higher percentage of fragrance oil than EDT, which typically makes the scent more intense, richer, and longer-lasting rather than dramatically different in character. No. 905 and No. 904 share DEPOT®'s masculine scent identity — the EDP version is deeper and more present rather than a different fragrance entirely.
How long will No. 905 EDP last on the skin through a full evening?
Eau de Parfum typically lasts 6–8 hours on skin, sometimes longer on well-moisturised skin or pulse points. For an evening out, two or three sprays applied before leaving will typically carry through most events. EDP longevity varies by individual skin chemistry — drier skin tends to hold fragrance for shorter periods than moisturised skin.
Can I wear No. 905 EDP to the office or is it too strong for professional environments?
EDP can be appropriate for office environments with moderate application. Two sprays maximum for office wear — apply to wrists and one point only. EDP projects more strongly than EDT, particularly in the first hour. If your workplace is enclosed or colleagues are sensitive to fragrance, No. 904 EDT with its lighter projection may be more considerate.

Yes — well-hydrated skin holds fragrance significantly longer than dry skin. An unscented moisturiser applied to pulse points before No. 905 creates a better base for the fragrance molecules to anchor to. Alternatively, layering with No. 601 DEPOT® Body Wash in the shower and applying No. 905 while skin is still slightly warm gives an excellent foundation for longevity.
