KM.RE.BOND is Kevin Murphy's proprietary bond-building complex — it works inside the hair shaft to repair broken disulphide bonds. Disulphide bonds are the structural links within the hair's cortex that give it strength, elasticity, and resilience. They break during chemical services (colouring, bleaching, perming), repeated heat styling, and mechanical stress from brushing and combing. Most conditioners and leave-ins address the cuticle surface; KM.RE.BOND works at the cortex level — repairing the internal structure rather than just coating it. The documented result is up to 73% of broken bonds repaired and up to 6x less breakage.

Fermentation changes the molecular structure of the oils — it breaks them down into smaller particles with higher bioavailability, which means they penetrate the hair cortex more deeply than unfermented oils of the same type. In a standard oil blend, most of the conditioning benefit sits on the surface of the hair shaft as a coating. In a fermented blend, the fatty acids and antioxidants from the seven oils (Linseed, Chia, Sweet Almond, Jojoba, Sunflower, Camellia, Argan) are driven into the cortex where the structural repair from KM.RE.BOND is happening. The two technologies work at the same level, which is what makes FLAWLESS a genuine treatment rather than a leave-in with an oil coating on top.

FLAWLESS delivers soft, flexible, lasting style — not firm or medium hold. It is a leave-in treatment that also styles, not a styling product that also treats. For a natural, undone, smooth result it works as a standalone step. For structured styles, a defined blowout, or hair that needs hold through the day, use FLAWLESS as the treatment base (applied to towel-dried hair before styling) and add a Kevin Murphy styler over the top once the hair is dry. The treatment benefit of FLAWLESS is not diminished by layering a styler on top.

Yes — fine hair should use 1 pump maximum, applied from mid-lengths to ends only (never at the root). The risk for fine hair with any leave-in is weight and flatness at the root; keeping FLAWLESS off the root zone entirely eliminates that risk while still delivering the bond repair, frizz smoothing, and heat protection through the lengths and ends where fine hair needs it most. On very fine hair, emulsify the pump between both palms before applying so the product distributes extremely evenly rather than landing in a concentrated spot.

Yes — FLAWLESS contains Sweet Almond Oil (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis) as part of the Fermented Oil Blend. It is not suitable for clients with nut allergies. Always check the full INCI list on the packaging before use if you have any nut or seed oil sensitivities. The other oils in the blend (Linseed, Chia, Jojoba, Sunflower, Camellia, Argan) are not nut-derived, but Sweet Almond Oil is present in the formula.
