Apply to damp hair immediately after towel-drying — before combing or brushing. The detangling benefit is most effective when the product is on before any mechanical stress goes through the hair. Spray evenly from roots to ends, then comb through from the ends upward before touching the blow-dryer. This sequence dramatically reduces both breakage during detangling and the frizz that friction during combing causes.
