Yes, if you want the full blowout-prep system. Blow Dry Wash smooths the cuticle at the cleanse step. Blow Dry Rinse continues that with Biomimetic Silk and keeps moisture in the shaft going into heat. Using a different conditioner between them breaks the system and limits the result.
What does Biomimetic Silk actually do to the hair?
Yes, it makes a tangible difference. Biomimetic Silk deposits on the cuticle surface and reduces friction during blow-drying — the brush moves through the hair more smoothly, heat distributes more evenly, and the finish sets more uniformly. It is the conditioning ingredient most responsible for that polished, salon-quality feel on the day of a blowout.
My hair is fine — will Blow Dry Rinse flatten it?
No, if applied correctly. Apply from mid-lengths to ends only — keep completely off the root. Leave 1 to 2 minutes and rinse with cool water. Blow Dry Rinse is formulated to support fine hair through the blow-drying process, not a heavy conditioner that adds weight.
How is Blow Dry Rinse different from a regular conditioner?
A regular conditioner softens and detangles. Blow Dry Rinse does those things and deposits Keratin Amino Acids and Biomimetic Silk specifically to prepare the hair for heat. The result is hair that responds better to the blow-dryer and holds the finish longer — it is a conditioning step designed around what comes after the shower.
