- Apply LOVE SMOOTHING Milk through damp mid-lengths and ends before styling. If your hair is fine, use less than you think and keep it away from the root. If your hair is thick or dry, add a little more through the areas that feel rough or frizzy.
Moda stylist tipApply before blow-drying rather than after — the heat bonds the smoothing agents to the cuticle more effectively during the drying process. Work section by section on longer or thicker hair for even coverage. One pump on fine or medium hair; two pumps on longer or denser hair. Too much on fine hair will reduce volume at the root — keep it away from the scalp entirely.

The Milk is lighter — designed for fine to medium frizzy hair that needs humidity protection without weight. The Serum is richer and more intensive, built for thick, coarse or very frizzy hair that needs stronger moisture-locking and longer-lasting frizz resistance. If the Milk isn't holding the smooth long enough, the Serum is the upgrade.
Will LOVE SMOOTHING Milk weigh down fine frizzy hair?
No. The lightweight formula is specifically designed for fine to medium hair. Apply a small amount through mid-lengths and ends only, keep it away from the root, and fine hair stays lifted at the root with controlled, smooth ends.
Does LOVE SMOOTHING Milk protect from heat when blow-drying?
Yes. The Milk provides heat protection as part of the leave-in formula. Apply to towel-blotted damp hair before blow-drying — it protects from heat and simultaneously creates a humidity barrier that helps the blowout result last longer.
Can I use LOVE SMOOTHING Milk on wavy frizzy hair without losing my wave?
Yes. The Milk smooths frizz without eliminating wave movement. Scrunch it into damp wavy hair rather than smoothing it through for a calmer, less puffy wave. If you want to fully blow out straight, smooth through with a brush while blow-drying.
Is LOVE SMOOTHING Milk colour-safe for colour-treated frizzy hair?
Yes. Colour-safe and particularly useful for colour-treated frizzy hair — chemical processing opens the cuticle and makes hair more reactive to humidity, which is exactly what the Apple Pulp Extract's humidity barrier addresses.
