My bleached hair is very porous and absorbs everything without looking shiny. Will NOUNOU Oil actually show up on my hair?
Yes. Lupin Oil’s molecular structure allows it to penetrate the compromised cuticle of porous hair rather than sitting on top and being absorbed without effect. It fills the surface voids that cause light to scatter rather than reflect, which is what restores visible shine on highly porous bleached hair.
I’ve tried other hair oils that made my blowout greasy by the next morning. Will NOUNOU Oil do the same?
No. NOUNOU Oil is silicone-free and uses Lupin Oil, which is a dry-finish oil that penetrates rather than coats. The key is application amount — 2–3 drops for shoulder-length hair, rubbed through palms before applying to ends. Over-applying any oil will cause greasiness the next day.
Can I use NOUNOU Oil every day, or will daily use cause buildup on processed hair?
Yes, daily use is fine with the right amount. Because Lupin Oil is a penetrating rather than coating oil, it doesn’t accumulate on the hair surface the way heavier silicone-based oils do. Keep to 2–3 drops and focus on mid-lengths to ends to avoid scalp buildup.
NOUNOU Oil is 50ml at $48 CAD. How long will that realistically last with daily use?
Yes, 50ml goes further than it looks. At 2–3 drops per use, a 50ml bottle contains roughly 500–700 drops — that’s approximately 165–250 applications. For daily users with shoulder-length hair, expect four to six months per bottle.
