How to use
Use it the way we would.

Ask ModaMy balayage has warm caramel tones. Will Fabuloso Caramel work on the lightened sections or only on my natural colour?
It works most visibly on lifted, porous hair — which means your lightened sections grab the pigment first and most intensely. This is exactly what you want for balayage: the colour deposits where the lightening is, enhancing the warm tones in your highlights while having a subtler effect on your unlifted natural colour.
I have warm brassy tones I want to get rid of. Will Caramel help with that?
No — Caramel adds warm pigment, it does not neutralise it. If you are trying to cancel brassiness or cool your hair down, you need Fabuloso Platinum Blonde (for icy blonde) or Light Beige (for a softer, natural blonde result). Caramel is for clients who like their warmth and want more of it.
Can I use Caramel every wash, or just occasionally?
Every wash is fine. Direct dye pigments fade naturally between washes, so consistent use is what maintains the result. If you find every wash gives more depth than you want, try every second wash and assess. The result is personal — some clients want subtle warmth, others want rich, noticeable tone.
Will Caramel stain my shower, bath or towels?
It can leave a light tint on surfaces if left to sit, but rinses cleanly from tiles and shower walls with normal cleaning. Use a darker or older towel to dry your hair after rinsing, and rinse any product off surfaces before it dries. It is no different to managing any pigmented hair product.
The 30 ml is $11 and the 220 ml is $41. Which size should I start with?
Start with the 30 ml if you have never used Fabuloso before — it gives you two to three washes to find your timing before committing to the full size. If you know colour-depositing conditioners work for your hair and you will use it regularly, the 220 ml is significantly better value per wash.
