How to use
Use it the way we would.
- Wet hair. Apply generously through scalp and lengths. Massage scalp and work through hair. Rinse well. Follow with Heads Will Roll or a conditioning step before styling.
Moda stylist tipUse before any curl treatment or mask, and style immediately after rinsing while hair is still very wet. Do not let it air-dry between the cleanse step and the styling step — that is when frizz sets in.

Most clarifying shampoos strip the hair aggressively and leave curls dry, frizzy and difficult to style afterwards. Springsclean removes buildup with a more balanced surfactant system that preserves more of the hair’s natural moisture. Curls come out clean and responsive rather than stripped and rebellious.
How often should I use Springsclean?
Once a week if you co-wash regularly and use heavy curl products. Every two weeks if your routine is lighter or your hair gets dry easily. Use it on the wash day where you plan to do your most thorough conditioning and styling.
Do I still need to condition after Springsclean?
Yes — always. Springsclean cleanses deeply, which means the hair needs moisture after rinsing before you style. Follow with Heads Will Roll or a conditioner of your choice, then style on very wet hair for the best curl definition.
My curls suddenly look limp and undefined even though I have not changed my products. Could buildup be the issue?
Very likely. Product buildup and hard water deposits are one of the most common causes of gradual curl deterioration. The curl products themselves are not the problem — the accumulation of previous applications is sitting on top of the pattern and suppressing it. One Springsclean often makes an immediate, visible difference.
Which size should I buy?
The 30 ml gives a trial run. The 300 ml is the everyday size — at once-a-week use it lasts two to three months. The 1000 ml is for clients with thick or long hair who use a generous amount, or those who want maximum value on an established routine.
