Ask ModaIs Hair Resort the same as a salt spray, or does it work differently?
No — Hair Resort is not a salt spray. Salt sprays use sodium chloride to create texture, which dries out the hair with repeated use. Hair Resort uses Honey as its hold and texture mechanism, which seals the hair and provides moisture. The result is beach texture without the dryness and brittleness that salt sprays cause over time.
Can I use Hair Resort on straight hair to create waves, or does it only work on already-wavy hair?
Yes — Hair Resort works on any hair type. On straight hair, scrunch it in while the hair is damp and let it air-dry or diffuse — the Honey creates enough hold to encourage wave formation. For more defined waves on straight hair, braid damp hair with Hair Resort applied before sleeping and release in the morning.
Will Hair Resort make my hair feel stiff or crunchy?
No — Honey is a natural humectant and emollient that holds the texture while keeping the hair moisturised and touchable. The hold is flexible rather than hard. If any stiffness appears, it is usually from using too much product — start with a small amount and build.
Can I use Hair Resort cream and Hair Resort Spray together?
Yes — Hair Resort cream applied to damp hair for texture and hold, then Hair Resort Spray on the dry finished style for added definition and Tangerine Oil shine. The cream creates the base texture; the spray enhances and refines it.
Is Hair Resort right for fine hair, or will it be too heavy?
Yes — Hair Resort is oil-free and designed for all hair types. For fine hair, use a small amount — a 10-cent-piece size scrunched through damp mid-lengths and ends. If fine hair finds the cream too much, Hair Resort Spray is the lighter version with the same beach texture result.
