Yes — often. Standard conditioners coat the shaft with a heavy silicone layer that prevents styling products from penetrating. Killer Curls Rinse uses a silicone-reduced formula that seals moisture without blocking your styler. Switch the conditioner first before changing your styling product.
Should I use Killer Curls Rinse differently for fine wavy hair vs thick coily hair?
Yes — for fine wavy hair, mid-lengths and ends only, rinse after one minute. For thick coily hair, apply from roots to ends, use a wide-tooth comb to distribute, leave two minutes and rinse cool. The contact time matters more the coarser and denser the curl type.
Is the 40ml trial size the same formula as the 250ml and 1000ml?
Yes — identical formula. The 40ml is a trial size only and will not last a full wash routine for long hair, but it is enough to test the formula before committing to the 250ml or 1000ml.
Can I use Killer Curls Rinse as a leave-in if I don’t fully rinse it out?
No — it is formulated as a rinse-out conditioner. Leaving it in can cause buildup and weigh down the curl over multiple washes. For a leave-in step, Killer Twirls or Killer Waves are designed to be left in and work better for that purpose.
My curls are both dry and colour-treated — will Killer Curls Rinse handle both concerns?
Yes — it is colour-safe, sulphate-free and moisture-focused. For colour-treated curls that are very dry or damaged from bleaching, supplement with the Killer Curls Masque weekly — it delivers a higher concentration of the same actives for a deeper moisture reset.
