The Curlicue Cream is a lightweight standalone curl definer from the styling range — quick and easy for enhancing waves and curls with humidity and frizz protection. The Coils & Curls range is a full, dedicated curl system (Co-Wash, Finishing Treatment Masque, Oil-In-Cream, Luscious Curl Gel) for a complete wash-and-style routine with richer moisture and stronger hold options. Use the Curlicue Cream on its own for easy, lightweight definition, or layer it with the Coils & Curls products (e.g. over the Oil-In-Cream) if your curls need more moisture and hold.
Does it really protect against humidity?
Yes — humidity protection is one of its key benefits. Humidity is a curl's worst enemy: it swells the hair and causes frizz and loss of definition. The Curlicue Cream helps shield curls against this, keeping them smooth, controlled, and defined even in damp or humid weather. Its moisturising chamomile and glycerin also help by keeping the hair hydrated (well-moisturised hair resists humidity better). So your curls hold their shape longer and frizz less on humid days.
Just the ends or the full lengths?
Both work, for different results. Apply it just at the ends for a looser, more textured, undone look, or through the full lengths for more controlled, defined curls all over. To help curls form their natural pattern and avoid flyaways, squeeze the cream up through the hair from root to top in a scrunching motion. Then air-dry or diffuse. Start with the ends and add more up the lengths if you want more definition and control.
Will it leave my curls crunchy?
No — it's designed for soft, touchable definition, not a hard cast. It gives a flexible 3/5 hold with moisture, so curls stay bouncy and natural-feeling rather than crunchy.
