Regular use strengthens and repairs the hair fibre, which reduces breakage over time. It does not physically repair already-broken strands, but it rebuilds resilience in remaining hair to reduce future breakage. Consistent weekly use over six to eight weeks typically shows a clear improvement in breakage levels.
How often should I use Rica Naturica Repairing Intensive Treatment Mask?
Once a week in place of your conditioner for significant damage. Twice a week if hair is very severely damaged or bleached. As the hair improves, you can drop back to once a week or fortnight for maintenance.
Should I use heat with Rica Naturica Repairing Intensive Treatment Mask?
Yes — a warm towel wrap or heated cap during the five-minute contact time meaningfully improves penetration. The heat opens the cuticle and allows the repair actives to reach the cortex rather than sitting at the surface. A room-temperature mask is a surface treatment; warmth makes it a cortex treatment.
