Yes — it is designed specifically for fine and flat hair. The formula is ultra-lightweight and applies through towel-pressed hair before blow-drying to add body without weight. Start with a small amount and build.
Can I use RICA Thickening Cream on curly or wavy hair?
It is formulated for fine and flat hair wanting blowout body, not for curly or wavy hair wanting curl definition. For curly and wavy hair, the RICA Curl Shaping Cream or Curl Reviving Spray are the right products.
Do I apply RICA Thickening Cream before or after blow-drying?
Before. Apply to towel-pressed damp hair from mid-lengths to ends, work a small amount through the root area with fingertips, then blow-dry. Heat activates the body-building properties during drying.
Can I layer RICA Thickening Cream with other Rica Style products?
Yes — it layers well under RICA Plumping Hair Mousse for maximum blow-dry volume. Apply the cream first through the lengths for body, then mousse for root lift and hold.
Will RICA Thickening Cream make my hair feel stiff or crunchy?
No — the finish is soft and touchable. The Rica Line Complex is designed for lightweight moisture and body, not stiff hold. If you use too much on very fine hair it may feel slightly weighted — start small and build to find your amount.
