Ask ModaWhy do I need a separate Natural Shampoo if I'm already using the Earth Moon Shampoo?
They serve different purposes. Earth Moon Shampoo deposits violet pigment every wash for ongoing toning. Natural Shampoo is completely tone-neutral — it's the cleanse you use before a pigment mask so there's no competing colour. On mask days, Natural Shampoo first. On regular wash days between masks, Earth Moon Shampoo. Both have their role.
Can I use RICA Cromearth Natural Shampoo as my everyday shampoo, or just on mask days?
Both. It's a high-quality, sulphate-free colour-safe shampoo that works as an everyday cleanse for any hair type and colour. Many clients use it exclusively and rely on the masks for all their toning. Others alternate it with a pigment shampoo depending on the day. Either approach works.
I don't use any Cromearth masks. Is the Natural Shampoo still worth buying on its own?
Yes — it stands on its own as a gentle, colour-safe, sulphate-free shampoo. If you have colour-treated hair and want a reliable everyday cleanse that won't strip your colour or add any competing tone, Natural Shampoo does that. You don't need to use it as part of a mask routine to benefit from it.
Is RICA Cromearth Natural Shampoo safe for bleached or heavily lightened hair?
Yes — it's specifically designed for colour-treated hair, which includes bleached and lightened hair. The sulphate-free formula cleanses without the harsh stripping that accelerates colour fade and dryness on lightened hair. It's one of the gentler options in the Cromearth range and suitable for daily use even on bleached hair.
Which is better for colour maintenance — the Natural Shampoo or the Earth Moon Shampoo?
Depends on your hair. If you have blonde or grey hair with yellow toning concerns, Earth Moon Shampoo gives you toning with every wash. If you have brunette, red, or copper hair (or any colour where violet pigment would interfere), Natural Shampoo is the correct everyday cleanse. The two products are designed for different client needs.
