The duo is shampoo and conditioner — your everyday wash-day toning. The trio adds the leave-in Toning Mist for non-wash days. Choose the duo for steady maintenance; choose the trio if your blonde fades brassy fast and needs holding between washes.
Will it turn my blonde purple or grey?
Not if you watch the timing. The pigment builds with how long the conditioner sits, so over-leaving it is what tips hair ashy or violet. Keep to the directed times and scale to your brass level for clean, bright blonde.
Can I use it every wash?
Yes. It's built for regular use — use the shampoo every wash and adjust the conditioner's time to your tone. If you fade fast, tone every wash; if you don't, ease off the conditioner's processing time so you don't over-cool.
Does it work on highlights and balayage?
Yes. It tones wherever blonde lives, so highlighted and balayage hair benefit too. Focus the conditioner on the lightest, most brass-prone sections — often around the face — and pull the rest through.
Is the shampoo drying, like some purple shampoos?
It's gentler than most. The conditioner is the main toning step here, so the shampoo doesn't have to be left on long or used at full strength to work — which is what dries blonde out with traditional purple shampoos. Follow with the conditioner every time.
