Ask ModaWill Nº.6 make my hair greasy or weigh it down?
No — if applied correctly. Use a small amount, work through damp hair from mid-lengths to ends, and keep away from the roots. Over-applying or applying at the scalp is the most common cause of Nº.6 feeling heavy. It's silicone-free, so it won't cause waxy buildup over time.
Does Nº.6 provide heat protection?
Yes — Nº.6 provides heat protection as part of its leave-in formula. It's particularly effective for clients who want frizz control, moisture and heat protection in a single leave-in step rather than applying multiple products.
I have fine hair. Is Nº.6 too heavy for me?
Yes — Nº.6 is generally too rich for fine hair. Nº.5L is the lightweight leave-in designed for fine hair, providing heat protection and bond care without the moisture load that can flatten fine hair.
Can I use Nº.6 on dry hair to tame frizz mid-day?
Yes — a very small amount on dry hair can be used to smooth flyaways and tame surface frizz. Emulsify between palms first, then smooth over the surface of dry hair. For finishing oil-style use on dry hair, Nº.7 is actually more suited to that purpose.
Do I need Nº.6 if I'm already using Nº.8 mask weekly?
Yes — Nº.8 is a weekly rinse-out mask and Nº.6 is a daily leave-in. They address different steps. Nº.8 gives deep weekly moisture; Nº.6 gives ongoing daily protection and frizz control between wash days. Both are part of a complete routine, not duplicates.
