Wheat Protein adds structural body to the hair fibre and Eucalyptus clarifies buildup that accumulates and progressively flattens fine hair. The formula rinses clean — no residue left on the shaft that would reduce lift during blow-drying.
Will the Pure Volume Conditioner flatten my fine hair?
Not if applied correctly. Mid-lengths to ends only — not at the scalp or root — with a 1–2 minute contact time and a thorough rinse. The formula is calibrated to condition without collapsing volume. The placement rule matters more than the formula on fine hair.
What's the difference between Pure Volume and Hydrate Sheer for fine hair?
Pure Volume is built around adding body and lift — the primary concern is volume, with moisture as secondary. Hydrate Sheer is built around moisture first — the primary concern is hydration, with volume preservation as secondary. Fine hair that is very dry tends to do better with Hydrate Sheer; fine hair that is primarily flat does better with Pure Volume.
Is Pure Volume colour-safe?
Yes — the Antifade Complex® protects colour from UV, hard water, and oxidative fading. ZeroSulfate® formula means no harsh sulfates stripping colour vibrancy. Safe for daily use on coloured, highlighted, or chemically processed hair.
What styling products work best after the Pure Volume system?
On The Rise Root-Lifting Mousse or the Instant Levitation Mist on damp roots before blow-drying — both contain Xylose for heat protection and build on the volume foundation the shampoo creates. The Color Fanatic Leave-In Spray can go on first for detangling and heat protection before the volume product.
