How to use
Use it the way we would.
- Shampoo, rinse, then apply conditioner through mid-lengths and ends. Leave on briefly, rinse well, and follow with your preferred Pureology leave-in or styling product.
Moda stylist tipUse 1–3 times per week, not every wash. Over-toning builds up on very porous or fine blonde hair and can shift it flat or ashy. Start with every third wash and adjust based on how quickly brassiness returns. On non-toning days, use the regular Strength Cure system to keep the repair work going.

Purple Orchid deposits violet toning pigments that cancel yellow on the colour wheel — the same colour theory a professional toner uses. Simultaneously, Keravis and Astaxanthin are rebuilding strength in the same formula. You get toning and repair in one wash step, not two separate products.
How often should I use Strength Cure Blonde?
Pureology recommends 1–3 times per week, or every third wash, depending on porosity and how quickly brassiness returns. On non-toning wash days, use the regular Strength Cure Shampoo and Conditioner for continued repair without pigment deposit.
Will Strength Cure Blonde turn my hair purple?
No — used as directed 1–3 times per week, the Purple Orchid pigments deposit just enough violet to neutralise yellow without over-toning. Very porous or fine hair tones more quickly — do a test strand the first time to gauge the right frequency for your hair.
Is Strength Cure Blonde suitable for grey or silver hair?
Yes — the purple toning system is effective at neutralising yellow warmth in grey and silver hair, which often yellows over time from mineral deposits, heat, and environmental factors. The strengthening actives also benefit the often-fragile texture of natural grey hair.
What is the scent of Strength Cure Blonde?
Pear, Rose, and Sandalwood — fresh, floral, and soft with a woody base. Distinctly different from the original Strength Cure (Lavender, Honey, Peach, Vanilla), which makes it easy to keep both systems in the shower without mixing them up.
