How to use
Use it the way we would.
- Use before shampoo as a treatment, on damp hair before blow-drying, or on dry lengths and ends as a finishing oil. Start with 1-2 pumps/squeezes and add only if needed.

The DD Haircream is a multi-benefit leave-in cream used on damp hair before styling — it provides detangling, body, frizz control and blow-dry prep. The Treatment Oil is a lightweight prickly pear oil used before, during or after styling for shine, softness and frizz finish. They serve different steps and work well layered together.
Can I use RICA Opuntia Oil Treatment on fine hair?
Yes — with restraint. One pump pressed between the palms and applied to the very ends of dry hair only is the right amount for fine hair. The oil is lightweight and absorbs well, but the rule for any oil on fine hair is less than you think, only on the ends.
When is the best time to apply RICA Opuntia Oil Treatment — before or after drying?
It works at three different steps. Before shampooing: apply and leave 20 minutes as a pre-wash treatment. On damp hair before blow-drying: press through mid-lengths and ends for frizz control and faster drying. On dry hair after styling: press one pump through the ends as a shine finisher. Each step delivers a different benefit.
Does RICA Opuntia Oil Treatment protect against UV damage?
Yes — the formula includes UV filters that provide a layer of protection against UV-induced colour fade and surface damage. It is not a sunscreen replacement for the skin, but it does give the hair some protection during outdoor exposure.
Which size should I buy — 50ml or 120ml?
The 50ml is a great starting size if you have not used the product before — one to two pumps per use means it will last two to three months on fine hair. The 120ml is better value for daily users and those with longer or thicker hair who use more product per application.
