Ask ModaIs Blow Dry Wash worth using if I already shampoo before blow-drying?
Yes — meaningfully. Regular shampoos clean and leave. Blow Dry Wash deposits Keratin Amino Acids on the shaft during the cleanse, smoothing and aligning the cuticle before heat touches the hair. That smoother starting point means the blow-dryer achieves polish more easily and the style holds longer. It is a preparation shampoo, not just a cleanser.
Do I still need Heated Defense if I use Blow Dry Wash?
Yes — they work at different stages. Blow Dry Wash prepares the cuticle at the wash step. Heated Defense protects during heat application. Used together they give prep from two points in the routine, which is what the BLOW DRY system is designed around.
Can I use Blow Dry Wash after a keratin treatment?
Yes — it is sulphate-free, which is exactly what is recommended post-keratin. The Keratin Amino Acids complement the smoothing result of a keratin service. Both work to align and smooth the cuticle from different mechanisms.
My hair is thick and frizzy. Should I use Blow Dry Wash or Smooth Again Wash?
Depends on your styling method. If you blow-dry regularly, Blow Dry Wash is the better prep system. If you mostly air-dry, Smooth Again Wash is built for ongoing frizz control without a blow-dry context. Both are sulphate-free and colour-safe.
Which size should I start with?
Start with the 40 ml to try the formula before committing. The 250 ml lasts most clients 6 to 8 weeks with regular use. The 1000 ml is best value once you know it works for your hair.
