Apply to damp hair after the Shampoo, comb through for even pigment distribution, leave 5 minutes, rinse with cool water. For more intense deposit on porous or natural blonde hair, extend to 10 minutes.
Does Alchemic Golden Conditioner provide UV protection?
Yes — it contains Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, a UV filter that protects colour molecules from sun-triggered fade between appointments. This is consistent across the Alchemic conditioner range. The UV protection works in conjunction with the Tocopherol antioxidant to give the colour comprehensive environmental protection.
Can I use Alchemic Golden Conditioner without the shampoo?
Yes — the conditioner works as a standalone colour-depositing treatment and can be used after any colour-safe shampoo. However, the Alchemic system is designed for both steps to contribute to tone maintenance — using the shampoo first primes the hair and the conditioner then adds a longer-contact second deposit. The cumulative result is better than either product alone.
Will Alchemic Golden Conditioner make my hair feel heavy?
No — the formula is designed to condition without heaviness. The Jojoba Seed Oil and protective agents hydrate and seal the cuticle without coating the hair shaft in a way that adds weight. Apply from mid-lengths to ends only (not at the root) and rinse thoroughly with cool water for the best weight-free result.
Can I mix Alchemic Golden and Silver Conditioners?
Yes — alternate between the two washes or mix a small amount of Silver Conditioner into the Golden for a neutralised warm blonde result that stays golden without going brassy. The Alchemic system is designed for creative mixing. Natural blondes going grey often use this combination to balance the warm dimension of Golden with the tone-correcting cool of Silver.
