How to use
Use it the way we would.
- Shampoo and squeeze out excess water. Apply mid-lengths to ends in place of conditioner. Cover with shower cap. Leave 5–7 min. Rinse cool. Follow with Easy Tiger before blow-drying.

Ask ModaHow is Lockdown different from the Mane Tamer Conditioner?
Lockdown contains a higher concentration of smoothing polymers and is designed for a longer processing time under heat — which allows them to penetrate the cuticle more deeply than a regular rinse-out conditioner. The Mane Tamer Conditioner is for everyday conditioning. Lockdown is the weekly intensive that builds more significant smoothing on top of what the daily routine maintains.
How often should I use Lockdown?
Once a week in place of your regular conditioner. On all other wash days, use Mane Tamer Conditioner as normal. The weekly intensive builds on the daily routine rather than replacing it.
Do I need Easy Tiger as well, or is Lockdown enough on its own?
Lockdown deepens the smoothing at the treatment step. Easy Tiger extends it through the blow-dry. For the smoothest possible result, use both — Lockdown weekly as the treatment, Easy Tiger before every blow-dry. On its own, Lockdown will make a difference but the blow-dry without Easy Tiger will still be the weak link.
Will this work on fine hair that is frizzy?
Yes, but use a smaller amount and do not leave longer than five minutes. Fine frizzy hair responds well to smoothing treatments but needs less product than thick or coarse hair. Easy Tiger is the better everyday smoothing product for fine hair — use Lockdown as the monthly rather than weekly intensive if your hair is fine.
30 ml or 150 ml?
The 30 ml gives two to three uses to confirm Lockdown makes a difference in your routine. At once-a-week use, the 150 ml lasts approximately three months for most hair lengths.
