Not necessarily — but if your colour is still drifting warm between wash days, the Mist is what closes that gap. The shampoo and conditioner tone on wash days. The Mist tones on every other day. Clients who add it consistently notice their colour holds longer, particularly in the days just before their next appointment when drift is most visible.
Will the Mist build up on my hair if I use it daily?
No. The formula is lightweight and does not leave residue or cause buildup with daily use. The direct dye pigments in leave-in products fade naturally between applications, so consistent use maintains tone rather than accumulating it indefinitely.
Can I use this on dry hair, or only on damp hair?
Both. On damp hair before blow-drying it detangles, deposits tone and adds shine in one step. On dry hair it works as a mid-day or between-wash refresh — the pigment still deposits and the conditioning agents add a glassy finish to dry lengths.
Does the Mist replace a heat protectant, or do I still need one?
The Mist offers some heat protection but is not a dedicated heat protectant. If you regularly use high heat tools — flat irons above 200°C, aggressive blow-drying — we recommend using a specific heat protection product as well. EVO Happy Campers provides lightweight protection alongside conditioning benefits if you want to cover both.
How is this different from just using more Fabuloso Conditioner?
The conditioner is a rinse-out product — you process it and wash it out in the shower. The Mist stays in your hair, which means the conditioning and toning benefits are present through the day rather than just during the shower. It is also designed for use without shampooing first, so it works on dry or unwashed hair in a way the conditioner does not.
