Ask ModaCan I use Davines OI Body Wash on my face as well as my body?
OI Body Wash is formulated for the body, not the face. The pH and cleansing agents are calibrated for body skin, which is less sensitive than facial skin. For face cleansing, a dedicated facial cleanser is the right choice — but OI Body Wash is fine for everything from the neck down, including décolletage.
Does the OI Body Wash lather well, or is it more of a gel-style cleanser?
OI Body Wash produces a rich, creamy lather — not a thin gel. The Roucou Oil formula means it cleanses without stripping, so skin feels nourished rather than tight after rinsing. It works well with a loofah or just hands.
Is the OI Body Wash fragrance the same as OI Hair Oil and OI Shampoo?
Yes — the same signature OI fragrance. It's the scent clients always notice in-salon and ask about. Using the Body Wash alongside OI hair products extends the fragrance experience from your hair through your whole wash routine.
Will OI Body Wash help with very dry or sensitive skin?
Many clients with dry skin find it much less stripping than standard body washes thanks to the Roucou Oil base. It is not a medically formulated skin treatment — if your skin is severely reactive, patch-test first and consult a dermatologist for targeted management.
How much OI Body Wash should I use per shower?
Two to three pumps (roughly 20–30ml) is sufficient for most washes. The creamy formula goes further than it looks when lathered. The 400ml bottle gives approximately 13–20 full washes depending on body size and application.
