Pureology recommends using it 1–3 times a week or every third wash, depending on how brassy your hair is and its porosity level. On non-toning days, alternate with the regular Strength Cure Shampoo to continue the repair benefit without over-depositing purple pigment.
Will Strength Cure Best Blonde make my hair purple?
No — when used as directed (1–3 times per week), it deposits just enough violet pigment to neutralise yellow tones without turning hair purple. If left on too long or used excessively, it can over-tone. Do a test strand first to gauge the right timing for your hair's level of porosity.
Does Best Blonde Shampoo also strengthen hair?
Yes — Keravis (a plant-based strengthening protein) and Astaxanthin (a powerful antioxidant) are both present in the formula alongside the Purple Orchid toning pigments. It tones and strengthens in the same wash.
