Yes — 100% natural and 100% organically grown ingredients, with no mineral oils, silicones or synthetic additives. The formula is certified as part of Davines' organic sustainability programme. The 30% Safflower Oil is the dominant active ingredient rather than a trace addition.
Will the Authentic Nourishing Oil feel greasy on hair or skin?
No — Safflower Oil is a dry oil with a very low comedogenic rating and a fast absorption rate. It doesn't leave the greasy surface residue that heavier plant oils like coconut or argan can. On fine hair, 2 drops through damp ends is sufficient; on skin, it absorbs fully within minutes of application to damp skin.
Can I use the Authentic Nourishing Oil on my face?
Davines formulates it for face use. Safflower Oil is particularly beneficial for dry and normal skin types — its high linoleic acid content supports the skin barrier without blocking pores.
