Yes — and the shampoo step is usually where the problem starts. Sulphate surfactants strip the shaft oils that hold curl pattern together. Killer Curls Wash uses sulphate-free surfactants with Organic Oat Milk and Avocado Oil to cleanse without stripping, so your conditioner and styler have something to build on rather than repair.
I have fine wavy hair — is Killer Curls Wash too heavy for me?
Possibly — it depends on how fine and how wavy. Killer Curls Wash is formulated for wavy to coily textures and has a richer feel than a volumising shampoo. If your hair is both fine and wavy and volume is a concern, Angel Wash may be a better daily fit, with Killer Curls Rinse applied to the lengths only.
Is there a point to buying the 1000ml if I only wash my curls twice a week?
Yes — the litre works out to significantly better value per wash, and curly hair routines use more product per application than straight hair. At twice-weekly washing, a 1000ml typically lasts five to six months. If you want to try the formula first, start with the 250ml.
My scalp is oily but my curls are dry — can I use Killer Curls Wash on both?
Yes, with technique. Apply Killer Curls Wash only at the scalp and let the rinse carry it through the lengths. If your scalp is very oily, double-shampoo at the root on wash day — but keep the second pass away from the dry ends entirely.
I already use Killer Curls Rinse — does it matter which shampoo I use before it?
Yes — it matters more than most people realise. A sulphate-based cleanser before Killer Curls Rinse strips what the conditioner is trying to restore. Using Killer Curls Wash first means the conditioner is building on a prepared base rather than compensating for the cleanse step.
