- Apply Davines LOVE CURL Mask Hair Mask to clean, towel-dried hair through the areas that need treatment. Leave on for the recommended time on the Davines packaging, then rinse thoroughly.
Moda stylist tipApply to damp hair after co-washing or shampooing and cover immediately with a shower cap. The warmth under the cap allows the Baobab carbohydrates to penetrate the curl cortex more deeply than an uncapped application. Comb through with a wide-tooth comb before the contact time begins to ensure the Mask reaches the inner sections of thick or coarse curls.

Once a week in place of the LOVE CURL Conditioner is the standard recommendation for Routine 1 users. For thicker, coarser or very curly hair using Routine 2 with the Co-Wash, the Mask replaces the conditioner on every wash. The conditioner handles maintenance washes for Routine 1 users between mask treatments.
What is the difference between Davines LOVE CURL Conditioner and the LOVE CURL Mask?
The conditioner is the daily Routine 1 step — 30 seconds, lightweight, designed for regular maintenance. The Mask is richer and more concentrated — used weekly in Routine 1 or on every wash in Routine 2 for deeper elasticity restoration and anti-breakage. Both use Baobab Pulp Extract, but the mask delivers it at a higher concentration with longer contact time.
Will Davines LOVE CURL Essential Haircare Mask weigh down fine wavy hair?
Apply from mid-lengths to ends only and rinse with cool water for the lightest result. On fine wavy hair, 5 minutes is enough. The mask is designed for wavy through curly hair at all densities, not just coarse or thick textures.
Does Davines LOVE CURL Essential Haircare Mask help with curl definition as well as nourishment?
