A regular conditioner adds surface softness and slip. Baby Got Bounce is a concentrated treatment formulated specifically for curl patterns — higher levels of humectants that penetrate more deeply, curl-specific polymers that encourage pattern definition, and an intensity of conditioning that everyday conditioners do not match. The result is visible in the curl's bounce, definition and how long the pattern holds.
Will it make my curls crunchy or stiff?
No. Baby Got Bounce is a rinse-out treatment, not a styling product. Any firmness from the polymers rinses out — leaving softness and definition without the stiff or crunchy cast that hold-based curl stylers create.
Can I use it every wash or just once a week?
Once a week is the right frequency for most curl clients. Used every wash it can over-soften fine or looser curl types. On other wash days, Heads Will Roll provides appropriate conditioning without the treatment intensity.
Do I still need to apply a curl styler after rinsing Baby Got Bounce?
Yes, for most clients. Baby Got Bounce is a treatment, not a styler — it hydrates and prepares the curl pattern. Liquid Rollers or Total Recoil applied immediately after rinsing on very wet hair gives the definition and hold that makes the pattern set and stay. The two work together: treatment for moisture, styler for definition.
Which size should I buy?
The 50 ml for a trial. The 200 ml is the standard size — at once-a-week use it lasts approximately two to three months. The 1000 ml is for clients with long or thick hair who use a generous amount, or those wanting maximum value per treatment.
