Ask ModaIs the Volume Mousse sticky or crunchy like some mousses?
No — this is one of the best things about it. The Pure Volume Mousse adds long-lasting body and lift but leaves the hair airy and naturally soft, with no stickiness or crunch. Provitamin B5 conditions as it volumises, so the finish feels like your own hair, just fuller. You can even layer other styling products over it because it doesn't leave residue.
What is the difference between the Volume Mousse and the Styling Mousse?
Yes — they serve different goals. Compared to the Maria Nila Styling Mousse, the Volume Mousse gives more volume and less structure and hold. Choose the Volume Mousse when you want soft, airy, natural fullness for fine hair. Choose the Styling Mousse when you want firmer hold and more defined structure for a style. Both are 100% vegan and colour-safe.
How do I get the most volume from it?
Yes — technique makes a big difference. Shake the bottle, dispense a golf-ball-sized amount, and work it through damp hair concentrating on the roots and mid-lengths. Then blow-dry with your head flipped forward (upside down) to lift the roots — this is where fine hair gets the most volume. For long or thick fine hair, apply the mousse section by section for even coverage. Air-drying gives a softer, more natural lift if you prefer.
Is it safe for colour-treated hair?
Yes — it includes the Colour Guard Complex, which protects colour from UV radiation and free radicals, and like all Maria Nila products it's colour-safe. You can build volume into fine, colour-treated hair without worrying about colour fade.
