We swap her into Repair Me Rinse and the progress accelerates noticeably at the next visit. The Wash starts the repair; the Rinse seals it. Using a different conditioner in between breaks the sequence the formula is designed around. Kevin Murphy designed Repair Me Rinse as the direct partner to Repair Me Wash — not a standalone conditioner that happens to share a name. Ask ModaDo I actually need Repair Me Rinse if I’m already using Repair Me Wash?
Yes. The Wash delivers soft-state proteins to the damage sites. The Rinse seals them in and adds the moisture that damaged hair also needs. Using a different conditioner between them breaks the sequence the technology is built around. The two products together produce significantly better results than either one alone.
My hair is dry and damaged. Which should I start with — Repair Me Rinse or Hydrate Me Rinse?
If your hair snaps without stretching, breaks during combing or has lost elasticity from chemical processing, start with Repair Me Rinse. If it is dry and dull but not actually breaking or losing elasticity, Hydrate Me Rinse is the better fit. If both are true — damaged and dry — Repair Me Rinse addresses both: the soft-state protein repairs structure and the Shea Butter restores moisture.
Can I use Repair Me Rinse on fine damaged hair without it going flat?
Yes — apply from mid-lengths to ends only and keep off the root. The Shea Butter is rich but the application zone is the key. Fine damaged hair has structural needs that outweigh the volume consideration — and hair that is breaking needs repair more urgently than it needs volume. Once the structure is restored you can reassess the formula.
What is Re.Store and how does it fit with Repair Me Rinse?
Re.Store is a concentrated intensive repair treatment that replaces both Wash and Rinse in a single step every third wash. It delivers a higher concentration of the soft-state protein and repair actives with a longer contact time. Think of it as the weekly reset that makes the daily Wash and Rinse routine more effective the other six washes.
