Neutral Mask works two ways. On its own, it's a restructuring treatment for any hair colour that protects and brightens. Mixed into one of the pigmented Cromearth masks, its white pigment dilutes and lightens that mask's tone — so you can custom-tailor the intensity of Earth Moon, Yellow Ocher, Terra Cotta, or any of the other masks to exactly the result you want.

If you're looking for tone correction or colour deposit on its own, choose the relevant pigmented Cromearth mask instead — Neutral Mask alone won't add or remove tone, it simply restructures and brightens.

How To Use

  1. Shampoo with RICA Cromearth Natural Shampoo and towel-dry.
  2. Wear gloves. Apply alone, or blend with a pigmented Cromearth mask to soften its tone.
  3. Distribute evenly with a brush, combing through to the ends.
  4. Leave on 10–20 minutes, then emulsify and rinse thoroughly.

Neutral Mask has no pigment at all — it delivers the same deep conditioning and colour protection without any colour deposit. You use it on weeks when your colour is already where you want it and you just need treatment. It prevents over-correction.
You can use it as often as you like — there's no risk of over-use since it contains no pigment. A good approach is alternating: use your pigment mask one week for correction, then Neutral Mask the following week for conditioning maintenance. Adjust based on how quickly your colour shifts.
Yes — the restructuring complex in the Cromearth base is designed specifically for chemically processed hair. It penetrates the cortex to rebuild internal bonds, which is the same damage mechanism bleaching causes. Used weekly, you'll notice improved elasticity, softness, and reduced breakage.
