The pre-reformulation LOVE SMOOTHING system — the version built around Annurca Apple Pulp Extract (Slow Food Presidium, Campania, Italy) as its hero active. Annurca Apple is one of Italy's most antioxidant-rich apple varieties; the pulp extract delivers fatty acids, polyphenols, and vitamins that smooth the cuticle and control frizz with each wash. Scent: the original LOVE SMOOTHING fragrance profile that long-term clients will immediately recognise.
This is the formulation committed LOVE SMOOTHING clients have been using for years. It is being phased out as Davines transitions the full Essential Haircare range to the Essentials 2.0 programme. Once this stock is gone, it will not be restocked. Fewer than 50 units remaining.

Variant: New Formulation with PUMPS
The current LOVE SMOOTHING formula, updated as part of Davines' Essentials 2.0 programme. The hero ingredient is now Minuta Olive Extract (Slow Food Presidium) — sourced from Mr. Carmelo Messina's farm in Ficarra, Messina, Sicily. The Minuta olive is an ancient variety prized for its high concentration of fatty acids and Vitamin E; the extract nourishes, softens, and boosts shine and elasticity specifically for frizzy or coarse hair.
The shampoo cleanses gently with a soft creamy foam, taming unruly hair for a sleek, smooth finish. The conditioner smooths and conditions with the same Minuta Olive active — leave 2–5 minutes, comb through, rinse thoroughly. Scent: radiant harmony of orange blossom and pink grapefruit on a floral heart with a musky base — distinctly different from the original.

- Choose New Formulation if you are new to LOVE SMOOTHING, or if you want the current Minuta Olive formula with updated Slow Food Presidium sourcing. This is the formula Davines is producing going forward.
